There a limit on how much sapce is allowed for uploaded images. The image upload feature is meant really to be a standby for times when you can't host either on a site of your own or an image hosting service like image shack etc.... It shouldn't be the 1st choice for places outside of the final images section. For thumbnails I would say to upload a 200x150 image etc.... Remember there is no corporate money comig into this site and its being bankrolled by largely myself and a handful or people who have donated.

You should see a paypal donate button on any of the video pages on the front part of the site. It makes it all easy as falling off a log.

Same deal so Ive uploaded an image to image shack but all I get when I try to post the image here is a link not the image, could someone please explain how to edit the link so the image loads. Also had a search through the help but couldnt find what image formats and sizes are allowed?

thanks
tony

i reverted to imageshack
all i did was put the forum code straight into were i typed in the forum post and it worked as for the image size not sure it matters just dont make it 2 big

I've extended the space available for attachments a bit. Usual guidelines apply.:)

Thanks Dessi I figured it out eventually. The imageshack url pastes a linkable thumbnail rather than the image, if you edit out the th. of the second part of the url so it links directly to your image then it pastes the image instead. Also iif you attach a thumbnail of your image the hub site will paste the thmbnail in the forum index.
