View Full Version : My Daughter was born today :)

This has nothing to do with mudbox I freely admit, but hey I'm excited lol.

At 11.31am GMT Emily Grace Primrose Robson was born weighing in at 8 lbs 2 oz at the Royal Victoria Infirmary Newcastle. Mother and baby are doing fine after a very hard labor and if you are curious to see pics of our new addition you can see a couple over on the DashDotSlash blog : http://www.dashdotslash.net/blog

I'm absolutely over the moon, although currnetly functioning on 1 1/2 hours sleep in 48 hours (long pregnancy related story that I'l bypass for now.) So if things are a wee bit quiet on the Wayne front for a day or two you now know why. :)

I've pencilled in nght of a few bust doodles to unwind and get my brain back off cloud 9 then some serious sleep time! ( I was doing a render for glen southern 4 hours before she went into labor..now thats HARDCORE 3D lol. Although to be fair we didn't know at that point :))

Hey, great to hear Emily has finally arrived, Wayne! The Robson clan is bigger and stronger than ever, right? :) She looks adorable, I hope she'll get along with Kane. So her birthday will be 30 minutes before the 16th?

Thanks everyone. I'd forgot how much time a new baby takes up for simple things like feeds and nappy changes lol. Although I have given myself a few days anyway before I really get back down to stuff.

Congrats Wayne. She's definitely cute, kids are the best, even though they can make you loose your mind sometimes lol, now put down that Wacom stylus and be a good father..!

Yeah kids drive you nuts at times but are without doubt the best thing that you can do. My kids are the one reason I will drop everything no matter how important.... just like every other dad. :) I have noticed that when a child is born is seems to drain every bit of creative energy out of me...probably gods way of saying 'take a bloody break and spendtime with your kids' lol.

Nice to see you here BTW.

toataly agree there m8 but it dont get any easier as they grow up myn being 16 and 14 both girls makes a great hole in the wallet
but being a dad is the best feeling in the world when you look into the eyes of ya babys no mater how old
