Alien Head. My first sculpt.

Hi all.
Messed around with Zbrush but never really got anywhere with it and always had problems getting it into 3d max so i moved to Mudbox about 3 weeks ago and all i can say is wow. ;D
This is my first sculpt c&c welcome.

The forehead looks good :).
Though the nose looks kinda messed up ;P.
Try to go for a clear style when you sculpt :)

Define "clear style".

Do you mean that this particular sculpt is mix of 2 different styles?
Or do you mean the nose is just bad sculpting or done with the style that does not mix well with the forehead style?

I think this is very good work for a first sculpt, I don't know what the goal was (other than Alien head) so I can't really give any critics about any styles here, it's an Alien head for sure :)

I think it is a very good first sculpt :).
What I meant was that one should try to go for an objective when sculpting. I don't really know exactly how to say it.
The forehead and all other parts have a certain style to them I think, not style as in stylish but as in theme/mood, and then the nose isn't following the same theme.

Think that explains it. Hope no one took any offense, I didn't mean it the way you said.

I know the nose has two style's going on but i'll play around with it some more. I was working on the textures and testing them in max will post some screen's.

Nice doodle, especially for a first. I'll have to agree with Hulahuga though, it definitely helps to have an objective.
