I had a perfectly working scene, which i've working the last three days...
Last time i saved was yesterday and up till then everything was fine...

Today, i try to load the scene and Mudbox (64bit) crashes to the (Win Vista) desktop...
I tried the backup scene as well and that crashes as well...

Is there anything i can do to save the three days work or have i lost them completely?
Any ideas as to why this happened the first place, so i can prevent it from happening again?

All i did since yesterday was to update my Wacom drivers, though i can't see any relation...

Thanks in advance for any help...

Autodesk do have the ability if you are in a real bnd to recover models from corrupted scene files using the internal debug builds for the programmers only.... although they do it as a favour (So dont everyone start sending them scene files or I'll get shot!)

The motto of ths is to save often and to different incremental scene files (I've got 47 itterations for a massive model I've been working weeks on.. for example)

Well...
The model was no where near completion, so no worries. Only a muscle layer was made and i'll do it all over, probably better this time....

I will use incremental saving as well and i wish Mudbox had that build in.
Also, since AD knows the corrupted scenes problem, it would be a life saver to have a debug option inside Mudbox for such occasions...

Anyway, thanks again Wayne...

But, is there a way to "predict" when a scene will be corrupted?
The model was all quads and i've checked all UVs in high tessellation and they don't overlap...
The scene worked fine for three days and various tests, yesterday saved seemingly okay, but never retrieved since...
Is there anyway to "know" what may cause a scene to crash?

Thanks,
