I'll see what I can do although time is at a premium right now. The only trouble is that to give people an understanding of why something is done as well as how can take a lot of time to explain correctly. Otherwise it would be just showing people how to replicate one single light set up.

:) then can you put the light rig like link for download like the envoerment sphere or something like that :D it will be great to have one
I'm interested more about the mental ray settings and the light settings you use in your scenes like the one witch you've baked lights in on the sphere
:) that light rig is perfect :)

I can't share it for 2 reasons.... firstly this model along with many others was lost when 4 1/2 terrabytes of my drives were taken out by some idiot sending me drive killer earlier in the year. Secondly I dont share my light or shader setups as they often take a long time to set up. To be blunt they are way to valuable for product renders etc to give away for free.
If you want to learn about lights and shaders etc I'd recommend looking at the info zap anderson has on his blog (who works for mental images and is in charge of writing the mental ray shaders.) LINK (http://mentalraytips.blogspot.com/)
