please if anyone could help me recover a corrupt file.. I’m using mudbox 64bit trial, for some reason my mudbox wont open my file anymore,I’m usually one to save many versions of my characters however, for some strange reason i got caught up in the sculpting, although i saved, it was over my existing file. I’ve tried opening it up on various machines with no luck.

again, if anyone could help or have any suggestions as to how i could recover the file i would greatly appreciate it… it was about 3 days worth of sculpting..and its impossible to start from scratch and meet my deadline.

i tried attaching the scene file but its too big,i was able to get it down to 21mb however that’s still to big..

Wayne please let me know if there is anything i could do to get this file back.

thanks in advance.

Try importing the file instead of opening it. Also check it theres a .BAK file, if so rename it to .MUD Good luck

its really important to save incrementally with any programs your using so if a file corrupts you loose only 30 mins work instead of 3 days. i feel for you, sucks loosing work, but sculpt it again it will turn out better than the first attempt.
