hi, is there any possibility, to get 2 mapping channels in mudbox working?
i want to have multiple textures on one seamless objekt.
how'd i solve this?
do i have to arrange the additional uvs outside 0-1 boundaries to force mudbox rendering more maps?
this would work, but is this the wanted workflow?
thank you!

i got it working like this, so in max i would later set my mat id's. for the mudbox workflow it the way to go, to shift the extra uv spaces to the next uv tiles in the uv layout. it works even with displacement.
BUT
be careful with your UV's as long as you stay enough far away from the uv 0 and 1 boundaries there is no problem. but if any bleeding space from the displacements is touching the border, the displacment will fail (as like any other texture action inside mudbox would then produce errors also!)

You must always give enough breathing space on your uv borders to make sure that they do not overpaint when the pixel padding is added. its a golden rule. Watch some of the quickstart videos on uv's multi uvs etc adn you'll fast get an idea of how its best to treat your uv's.
