Mudbox 2010

I don't know if anyone here knows anything or if Wayne knows, but will the next version of mudbox have any new features that are similar to what zbrush is putting out in it's latest version? I love the features they have and the direction their going in (their real close to making zbrush a one stop shop) but the ease of the UI for mudbox suits me better. I was just curious on exactly what they have in the works for the next version; thanks.

That kind of information cannot be given by myself, Wayne or anyone else that knows about it. Autodesk would not be happy if that kind of information was shared with the public by a tester and would be cause for legal action against that tester as we are bound by contract not to. You'll unfortunately just have to wait for the announcement to come from Autodesk.

Indeed... those who know, can't say...simple as that. On pain of death over a slow fire with large pointy things where the sun doesn't shine...lol Not quite but you get the idea that its more than our lives are worth to break the beta NDA.

I own both, so what tever happens is a plus to me.. but I so agree on the UI simplicity.. However, I find my self getting more and more used to ZB..
