Ok, I have been fleshing out a Cthulhu script and I wanted "me own brand of Fishmen".
This is just a sketch for the storyboards. I just used the normal maps on the lo-rez in Max and you can see the poly edges. The render went really fast, less than 20 minutes for the render (spin-see link) with MR and 3 lights. I "finally" figured out the paint tools for this one. Yaaa "Wave 1"
