Hi All
Does anyone know if there are plans to have a certification program in place for Mudbox in the near future?

Nothing has been mentioend regarding it from autodesk in my convos with them...and being blunt anything other than an autodesk certification would be useless. I have had discussions wiht them about it in the past though.

I assume he's referrring to the same sort of certification that there is for max and maya. Last time the subject came up there were no solid plans..that was a few months back now.

Thats correct Wayne, the same sort of certification as in Maya and other Autodesk products. By the way, it seems to me that Mudbox is more established in Europe than the US with respect to a user base. Is this true?

I haven't got the numbers handy, but it does well in all markets except the hobbyist one (which it isnt aimed at anyway really...)

I would agree with that statement; judging by the other users who have intro-ed themselves on this site, US-based users seem to be in the minority. Leave it to us Yanks to be the last ones to catch on to good things...
