'MudWalker' plug-in for Mudbox 2010 by Wayne Robson
MudWalker video link (http://vimeo.com/5911560)
ReLight video link (http://www.vimeo.com/5912529)
The videos say it all. These is a few of the things I've been working on in a total news blackout for Mudbox 2010. MudWalker nd ReLight, programmed by my own fair hand. (With thanks to neil blevins at pixar for being secret beta tester along with another company I'm not allowed ot mention. ;) )

Updated with video for 'ReLight'.
This is ready to roll as soon as mud starts being handed out. The new mudbox hub site design should also go live tonight all going well.

Dude that stuff is fantastic... geez you must have worked hard to get it to that level in such a short period of time. You must be so chuffed with them. lol i actually learned a lot just from the videos... thanks! cant wait to see the masterclass ;)

Well...lets put it this way...I've not had a single day off in 2 1/2 months and have pulled some dangerously long hours. I wanted this to be a suprise to everyone , mud beta testers included. (also meant it stayed secret nd didn't leak)

These plug-ins look like they are going to make working between programs unbelievably easier and faster. Good on you!
I got a kick out of your parting words for the ReLight video. I promise I will appreciate the products of your blood and sweat. Way to go!

What you see in those videos is the unedited truth. :) no edits or staging..thats mudwalker in action in the same way you will use it.
Yep I'm proud of it. ;) There may be one more plug-in before you get mud in your hands...but that depends on somethings out of my control. But ther are plenty more int he works.

MudWalker (video #2)- There and Back Again... (http://vimeo.com/6006898)
What you see here (adn included i version 1) is to all intents and purposes an alpha version of what wil be in version 2 onwards. Lots of stuff you have to do now will be automate from version 2 into a single click on import. B7t this 'raw' version will allow peolpe to geet things into and out of mudbox 2010.This video shows
Mud >> Maya >> Mud
and
Mud >> Max >> Mud
pipelines showing use of meshes with different topologies. etc... Again this is very early alpha stage import and NOT the final import I have in mind for version 2 onwards.
