Wow what a great video and a cool plugin... So... where do I get that? :P I looked at the website under plugins and did not see the download button... Even if I did get a download of the plugin, do you think it would work on a MAC? I use Mudbox on my Mac.
Thanks for such great work! I loved your DVD of mudbox too that I got... great stuff!
Peace,
Tony

MudWalker only works with mudbox 2010 and as thats not yet in hands of the user base there is no point putting it out for download yet. (It just means I'd get hundreds of emails each day asking why it wont work with 2k9....the reason is there was no sdk for 2k9...so plugins wont work with it as it was not designed for plauings. Whereas 2010 is.)
Soon as muds out the download links go up. Each contain a security feature that I've compiled them to only work with the version of mud they are aimed for. MudWalker is sitting compiled and ready on my drive ready to upload.
BTW mudwalker can alos import although that featrues not covered in the vids. More features will be added in the point release.

I thought on the Autodesk site it announced that Mbx 2010 was officially launched last week? Am I misunderstanding the information? Was that just the demo-launch that they were referring to? Or, are the copies just not being shipped yet?
Any clarification would be wonderful, Wayne.
Thanks.

I've added the list of aupported apps to the 1st post in the thread. some additions that weren't annouced (mainly as they weren't finished till this afternooon lol). Most notable are Softimage / XSI and modo 401. Although to be fair Silo was in my private build for a while.

The mac port is dead in the water.... I've been let down BIG TIME ..the reasons why those involved have may become clear in time. Sorry to let you down..if I find someone I trust that is capable or compiling and converting stuff over I'll let you know.

For the time being I can use the plugin under Windows 7 via Bootcamp on my Mac Pro but that is really a pain in the ass. I am really hoping there is someone out there that can get this done or the Mac users.

Wayne I must say you have a wicked sense of humor!
MUDWALKER CAN START FRIGGING SPOTIFY!
Edit: You should autodirect it to a cool song or something ;):D

Well I hd to ensure it had the important stuff lol. Although directing to a song isn't a bad idea.

Should get Autodesk to foot the bill for converting it over to Mac. There are a ton of us out here who want to give Mudbox a fair try, but ZBrush has goZ for the Mac already and that's stopping a ton of people. Autodesk needs to level the playing field for their own product.
