Yes, the idea was to make sure everyone got the info and training they needed and not just ram as many into a room as possibole to make as much coin as we could.
Although trust me it was tempting lol...... (Hey I'm only human ;) )

Being blunt ...if people don't come away from things I do like this thinking 'wow I learned a lot' then I'm not doing my job. I've never had any complaints fro stuff I've done like this in hte past up till now. ;) There is stuff you can do live that you can't do on dvd or online video or evne in books and articles....
But belive it or not its bloody hard work that usually means your up and answering questions fomr about 6.30am til sometimes the early hours the next day. I rarely get to see anything more than a shop to buy cigs while I'm working sadly.

Oh i dont doubt its hard work!! - Ive never done anything so big before... just a couple of lectures on production of animated ringtones for teesside uni a couple of years back... that took me ages to prep and pack everything in and that was a fraction of the length you have there!!...
Am sure it will be top notch, ya certainly have no issues keeping peoples attention. Id be amazed if more sessions dont come from it. Pitty ya cant have an extra day or 2 to look around :(... Would be great to go out and take some pics there. Deffo get yourself some cheap drum, samson or gv while your out there, beats fag prices here!!

I'm in talks about a couple of other ones. So far its all contained to europe mainly as people get edgy paying the money for flights etc in the current financial climate (damn those bankers! lol)
I always find it hilarious that although I live about 1 hours drive from teeside they have never so much as enquired lol. I've certainly got a heluva lot of stuf to get organised for 12 hours of tuition....there s a damn good reason no one does 12 hours of teaching in 2 days lol. When I get back from there I have to organise what I'md oing for my ones in Vienna.

Yeah I didnt want to ask incase there was a reason you hadnt been to teesside... Probably fulltime lecturing would annoy the crap out of ya from talking to friends that do it there - loads of bullshit etc - but Im sure you would get a lot out of a series of guest lecturers. Mate of mine asked Cris and a few of the blokes to come over for a few beers at the union. Turned into a DVD sales fest, might be something to consider if ya fancied a day of selling and lager haha. Do you know of the animex conference? Cris has been to that on occasion if i remember correctly... it can be a good few days - they also have masterclasses ;) Am sure they would jump at you if they knew you were interested. Have to say tho, im not sure if they actually have any mudbox interest - I left before anything such as Zbrush was installed. Could find out tho.
Wayne - Have you ever considered to visit norway any time soon? :)

Any chance of coming to Seattle Washington or at least america? I think you would get a grunch of people that would come, especially at the standard you play at.

No one has been willing to shoulder the expense of setting one up...thats the sole reason to be honest. There have been a few 'near misses' in regards to trips to the USA to train people....but the current financial climate is putting some people off bringing anyone outside of the USA into america due to expense.

To be honest I only do these things when asked and never arrange them myself as it'd be nigh on impossible. If there was something arranged I'd certainly consider it strongly.
