Well after one of the longest beta periods people have seen (some due to personal problems of the writer Cristi) Topogun the retopology solution is now available to all. Oh and there a demo version as well. (I'll also be adjusting MudWalker accordingly to update the links it uses etc.....the update version of topogun is slated to have MudWalker support direct from Topogun BTW...henvce why I'm reporting this on a mudbox board.)


I wrote the quickstart guide for topogun while it was in beta way back when.... so I know what a powerful retopology tool it is. Give the trial a go....what have you got to lose; )?

I thought Topogun had died a long time ago. I participated in the beta testing a good while back now and really liked what I saw but progress was quite slow. Then I found 3d Coat which seemed to do everything right.

I'll definately give the Topgun release a look however as I really liked certain things.. i.e. quick preview (with projected data) of your work in progress.
