Hi guys,
Just wondered what workflow everybody uses?
ie: quick sculpt in MB - re-top in Max/Maya etc - back to MB for final sculpt
or maybe:
just build the mesh in Max/Maya etc - then detail in MB
Or anything else?
Also, how does everyone re-topologise? Does everyone just use Topogun, or is it common practice to do it in Max Maya etc? and if so, how?
Cheers
Alex

The answer is relay how long is apeice of string.
Ask any 5 artists their personal pipelines / workflows and you'll probably get 5 different answers. Mine varies depending on the project. Mine ranges from:
simple mesh (sub 100 polys)
sculpt in mud
retop in topogun
detail sculpt and texture
max
to stuff thats way more complex for some projects.

Thanks Wayne.
I am expecting many different answers, and hopefully it will provide some food for thought!
So what workflow does everyone else use?

For me personaly, i like to model everything in say Maya, get my flowlines down first then take it into mudbox to sculpt the fine details on and texture in mudbox... Im not a big fan of re-topologising as i have no need for it in my current type of workflow, but as wayne said above, every artist is different, u just have to work out whats best to suit you.
Im sure mine will change once i become more efficient with MudBox.

In my limited experience with MB, I tend to work like you Shawry.
I like to plan out what I'm doing first, mkae it in Max or Maya, then detail in MB.
Plus I don't have Topogun, so would have to re-top via othermeans.
