Hello everyone i was wondering if any of you ever tried out 3d coat and would reccomend it.
http://www.3d-coat.com/features.html
the arrow feature sounds amazing!

Arrows
Possibility to draw a huge variety of arrows

no seriously shall i give it a try or not? since topogun beta is over ill have to find other tools to do the job and a all-in-one application could be interesting at this point.. its just i never liked zbrush so id rather stick to mudbox... i dont have the time to try (eventually "waste time with") other programs as of now, quite busy, so if any of you has used it any comments/suggestions would be welcome!

regards

You should definitely check this program out if you haven't already (late post sorry)

Auto Retopology (http://vimeo.com/13652970)

Andrew has been working on auto retopology and it's looking sweet. This will definitely give you a head start on building your animation mesh and that's before you even touch all the other amazing retop tools in 3DCoat.

I highly recommend.

Interesting, downloaded the trial. Very easy to use and on initial basis I like.

I was watching some videos of the retopology tool today it was very impressive.
I was amazed at how quick it seemed and how good the results were
