A couple of quick sketches from tonight. The 1st is about 42 mins and the 2nd (my warm-up) is 33 mins and both are from a 64 polygon base mesh (all quads.)

Well as it happens I recorded the 1st one at the top. ;) Its being used for the Animago masterclass along with a character model. It may also be seeing use at my upcoming talk to the london 3dmax user group on the 4th of this month. (Be there or be slightly oblong lol). After that it will see the light of day in some way shape or form.

To be honest on those rare occasion when I'm 'in the zone', I sort of go on autopilot. Its like automatic writing and the model tells me what it wants to be, I just copy the image in my head as best I can. Which is cool as it means I dont have to arse around with concept art lol.

yeah there are only so many monsters and wrinkley old bastards even I can take....its nice to have a break fomr time to time. Besides which it's not exaclty healthy or good for your skills to get caught into what is effectivly a very small area of digital sculpting. To be blunt I felt like achange after about 20 models in 7 days all organics I've been doing.

Yay mudboxhub conquers the world, almost ;).
I liked the spidery feeling of the first pillar. The second one was cool too, looked a bit "happy" with the upper "heads".
