Shortly a DVD is going to be released here on Mudboxhub.com that will be LIVE from Bablesberg studios at the Animago film / anination festival I did a masterclass at last week. It will mix both the live 'talky stuff' with a high res screen capture. It also will be extended from the LIVE version and go into ful depth for the entire Mudbox / 3Ds max pipeline.


On a side note this trailer was a pain in the backside to edit as 1080p raw footage is nearly impossible to preview as you edit....so if its a bit rough round the edges..bear that in mind. Oh and no I haven't forgottten about Wave 2 either ;)

it was there..already lit and ready...so I just had to use it......(Besides it remined me of my fav tv show of all time 'Red Dwarf'.)

BTW an interesting small factoid about the end 'walk off' part..thats not cgi its a practical effect done at the time..if you'd stood there you would have seen the same 'vanish'. You wouldn't belive how many people were behind that camera for that single take shot lol......

Looks great mate.i loved the alien type environment mesh.Lovely detailing. Red dwarf and Hell's Bells. I forgot how much the 90's rocked. I was such a Red Dwarf nerd that i actually taped it and paused/rewinded whilst i wrote down the lyrics to the theme song !! lol.

Ah well your talking to a man who watched all 8 series back to back each night for 2 years (as a clinical insomniac when you find a good show you watch it...constantly...at 4am there's sod all on tv as a rule lol. ) So here, from memory are the lyrics:

Both are undecided at the moment to be honest. There will be a few extra bits and pieces added to the DVD (DVD's???) to cover a bit more in depth some of the things I fly past as this was aimed for a advanced audience that had mudbox demo guys for european resellers as well as everyone else.

I'm putting as many bells and whistles on this one as I can....

Actualy the model would have been taken the extra mile again but that'd mean a dvd far to long for publuiction if I went into depth on what I was originally going to do with it ;)

Recently signed up for the subscription and after seeing the trailer I am gonna pick this up. Looks like you go over both hard surface type work and organic. The extras make it more than worth it. Nice music choice btw :)

Remember that the DVDs are NOT included in the on demand streaming (simply as most people would join then immediately cancel lol....) They may however be streamed as a buying option soon after release seperate from the on demand service.
