OK people...this is BIG news.....mudbox is now available on Linux! Anhyone who knows linux knws it has far better memory handelling etc than windows is far more versitile. Read the announcement....this has BIG ramifications for everyone. No more windows imposed memory limits...and I thk I may make myself a linuxx live distro DVD so that it wont even need to be installed :) (great for my trips demoing mudbox).

Thats rather cool... pitty there isnt a max version for linux too hehe... but its impressive they have made the linux version... id never have expected it.

Excellent news! I'm already trying to persuade the school to fill their seats with copies of 2010, rather than 2009, perhaps I can get convince them to go Linux due to our obvious memory limitations :)
