Ok so here is the finished piece of the post I had in the WIP section. Pretty much everything in it was touched in Mudbox. Let me know what you all think and as always C&C is welcomed...

The modeling is pretty good but i would say alot of work needs to be done on the texturing/shading/lighting.

Thanks Musa, any suggestions on what part of the texturing looks wrong, is there not enough detail? The lighting was realy hard cause I was trying to go for the night look with out getting it too dark or too light...
I am glad the modeling looks good though as it was more of an excercise in modeling in Mudbox... :)

For starters, the tree to his left is very badly skewed, which is odd because the background tree have much sharper detail. Overall, you should use higher res textures and maybe spend some more time painting details. I find switching back and forth between mud and PS a great workflow these days(although the vast majority of my texturing is stil done in PS) Maybe add some photographic elements to enhane the realism. Even the greatest modeling job in the world will suffer badly if the texturing/lighting is poor. Always use at least 3 map types: diffuse, spec(reflection), and bump.
As for the lighting, what renderer are you using?

Yea I see what you are saying about the tree... I did use three types of maps on pretty much everything but the trees. I did kinda skimp on the details with the textures though, they could use some more scratches and maybe a layer of dirt... I'm gonna try to go back and re do the textures at a higher res with more details and see what I can get.
I do most of my texturing in Photoshop, for some reason though my comp does not like to run photoshop and mudbox together, mudbox will always shut down if photoshop is open, so I need to figure out what is going on with that...
I used Brazil to render it and to tell you the truth the lighting was preatty simple, front key light for detail, strong light from the back and above and a hdri map for overall fill.
Thanks again for the feed back, it is always nice to have another pair of eyes to point out stuff.

Ok, update...
Redid the texture on the tree, and added some lighting... Also re comped it in photoshop.
I think it looks better lighting wise, and I think it helps with some of the texture problems, they seemed to have been washed out by my photoshop comp...
Let me know what you think...
