Hey guys,

I'm trying to get my sculpts from zbrush to mudbox, I followed, Wayne's ZB to MB tutorial (http://www.dashdotslash.net/Mudbox2k9/zb2mud/zb2mud.htm). I did a test using the MB head base mesh, sent it to ZB sculpted, exported obj and displacement map (following Waynes directions) and it worked. However I'm having trouble with another mesh. I'm not sure what the issue is. All the details are being blow up and washed out, if I lower the opacity on the layer all the detail is lost. I went through the same exact process as I did with the MB base mesh with this mesh, and it's just not working.  Please take a look and let me know if anyone knows what I'm doing wrong. Thanks guys

Zbrushes displacement is a bit fubar to be honest (one of the many reasons why setting disp maps fomr zb is such a pain sometimes.) The easiest way to get perfect results is import your low and high res into mud and bake a 32 bit disp map there...then in a new scene use your low res and sculpting using displacement map.

But be aware that the lower your low res and the more difference between that and your high poly, the more problems and issues you will have as mud (and zbrush) cannot cast rays round corners. :)

Thanks Wayne....I'll just import the low and high res to MB, maybe I'll use level 2 instead of level 1 as the low res mesh.
